July

Well, another month has flown by. Here I am again trying to get caught up. We had some pretty dramatic storms in June and July, and the amount of water really took it's toll on the "dry" creek bed. Apparently, not built for the deluge. We're waiting for repair........

We rented a house between Glenn and South Haven with our friends the Klubas. Their daughter Rachel, husband Luke and 4 month old son Dylan from London came, along with all of our kids, spouses, significant others and of course our Alexis! It was quite a houseful. At one point we had 14 adults, and two small children. Amazing that we had two sets of kids from California fly in; Gretchen and Jay drove and Andrea popped in for a day. We're very lucky that we could get everyone together - even if it was for a short time for some. We had wonderful weather, food and of course - booze. I think sleep was the only thing in short supply.
